Nasser Hussain who was the former English cricket team captain set a new world record and gets himself in the Guiness Book of World Records as he took the highest ever catch of a cricket ball.
Nasser Hussain achieved this record at the legendary Lord’s Cricket Ground and organised by Sky Sports Cricket. A drone took the ball in the air and dropped from a height of 32 m. The former English Captain retired 12 years ago from all forms of cricket, though managed to hang on the catch in his second attempt. He could get a maximum of 3 attempts. Nasser further improved his record as he caught the ball from a height of 49 m (160 ft).
Mr. Hussain was the British Captain between 1999 and 2003. He had the wear a wicket-keeper’s gloves while the ball travelled towards him at a speed of 74 mph. It is dangerous as it can cause damage to one’s hands if not pierce them.
